Welcome to CARMICHAEL COUNSELING

Carmichael Counseling was established in 1996 to provide play therapy
supervision leading to becoming a registered play therapist and to provide
play therapy training seminars.   The goal was provide easy access to
training and supervision in this increasingly popular modality in which
mental health professionals use therapeutic play to help clients of all ages
with psychological problems or to assist clients in wellness and personal
growth.  Carmichael Counseling provides the following types of services:

Carmichael Counseling is a private supervision and consultant practice.
Private supervision for Play Therapy may be provided through a long
distance or a face-to-face relationship.  Carmichael Counseling is a
company that provides professional training seminars, publications,
and case consultation.

Carmichael Counseling focuses on the delivery of supervision to play
therapists, who may not otherwise be able to secure supervision from a
registered play therapy supervisor in their area.  Areas of focus for
training seminars are in the areas of music play therapy, art in play
therapy, multicultural play therapy, play therapy supervision training,
advanced and basic play therapy skills training.
